What you need before you can register:

  1. Choice of 2 Extended Sessions (one for Friday and one for Saturday)
  2. Choice of your PreConference (if you like to attend on Thursday from 10:00 – 16:00)
  3. Credit Card
  4. EARCOS Member Schools Discount Code (please ask your PD coordinator or administration)
  5. If you have any questions please email register@learning2.org Participants attending the PreConference should aim to arrive by 9:30 on Thursday 2nd November. Conference-only participants should aim to arrive by 17:00 for a 17:30 start. The conference ends on Saturday evening.

Schools registering more than 10 participants may contact the organiser for group invoice at: register@learning2.org

Conference Fees

Early Bird Registration: $445.00 (closes July 15, Midnight Shanghai Time, 2017)

Early Bird Registration with PreConference:  $545.00 (closes July 15,Midnight Shanghai Time, 2017)

Registration:  $495.00

Registration with PreConference: $595.00

Conference Logistics

Once you have registered for the conference, don’t forget to book your hotel and please be aware to enter China, a visa is required for most visitors (Learning2 and SAS are unable to assist with visa applications). This is our conference hotel  – please contact the reservation at reservation@icnecc.com  and indicate that you are a Learning2 participant. The special conference rate has unfortunatley come to an end on the 15th September but the hotel aims to offer the best possible rate to all our participants. Also be sure to check out the general conference schedule to help with booking flights in and out of Shanghai. The main conference starts later afternoon on Thursday.

Registration Transfer Policy

Registration may be transferred to another teacher at your school free of charge up until October 20, 2017. After that a small service fee may apply. The new participant will be given the same sessions that the original participant chose and he/she may edit those sessions if space permits. The new participant should also update any cohort and dietary information as appropriate.

To request a transfer, please send the full name and email address of both the original participant and the new participant to register@learning2.org with the subject line “Registration Transfer”.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

 If you are unable to transfer your registration, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Full refund before August 15, 2017 (less $50 handling fee)
  • 50% refund before September 1, 2017 (less $50 handling fee)
  • No refund after September 1, 2017

Learning2 is a not-for-profit organisation. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the conference due to circumstances beyond our control, we will aim to refund a significant percentage of the registration fees. Should unexpected low numbers of participants result in a cancellation we will give full refund of the registration fees. In either case we will be unable to refund any travel, visa  or accommodation expenses. 

Privacy/User Data Policy

The data we collect as part of the registration process is primarily used to place participants into extended sessions and cohorts and for communication purposes. We share your data with our committee, conference leaders and presenters. We may use the data to inform participants of future events, for demographic analysis and with our key sponsors. For any post-conference mass email communications we use marketing tools that provide recipients with an opt-out clause.
